About Blue Angel ( words by Galerie Maria Wettergren ):

The Blue Angel tapestry was created with a high tech digital loom and remarkable detail. The materials are delicate linen & merino wool, woven in a method that allows the artwork to show on both side. Inverted colors. Size is 170 x 220cm.

Inspired by an ancient piece of Japanese textile, this contemporary tapestry communicates the ambience and sacredness of old Japanese craftmanship.

Signe directed a dutch industrial high tech loom at Textiel Lab in Tilburg, into creating a fabric-screen with a feeling of handmade complexity.
